Daughters of the Nile
Daughters of the Nile is a benevolent international fraternal organization for women who are related by birth or marriage to Shriners/Master Mason/Daughter of the Nile or a majority member in good standing of a Masonic related organization for girls. Alabet Temple was started by 22 dedicated and enthusiastic women and was chartered on October 25, 1926. Through the years our women have made quilts, hospital gowns, knitted sweaters, given toys and games and of course the ever popular tray favors. Alabet Temple No. 31 Daughters of the Nile are dedicated to supporting the Shriners Hospital for Children located in Chicago, Illinois.
Alabet Temple has stated sessions the first Wednesday of each month except January and July. Sessions begin at 7:00pm with refreshments at 6:00pm.
